Proposal for Documentary:
"Fulfilling the Prophecy. Revival of Ancient Traditions."

Our ancestors possessed abilities that we as a human race at large mostly have lost with the arrival of the new age of science and technology. Feeling inseparable from nature they established a deep connection with the world around them. They were able to understand the language of the Universe and following its messages, they were able to predict the changes in the times to come. Our ancestors passed their knowledge to the future generations in their storytelling, legends, and prophecies. Some of the messages were presented in images and metaphors and can be easily ignored and dismissed by our logical mind; only by relying on our intuition we can come close to the understanding of what our ancestors tried to tell us.  We don't have to wait when everything else, every left-brain solution to the world's crisis fails, before opening our minds to other solutions, which are deeply rooted in the traditions of our ancestors. We can ask the prophecies to show us the way.

In one of the Siberian legends, there were 33 shamans who lived in the area of Alhanai Mountains. The shamans served people and the land, but one day, confronted by newcomers of a different religion, they had to agree to a one winner contest. One of the newcomers, the most powerful llama, challenged the shamans, and due to their agreement, after failing the contest, one by one all 33 shamans had to take their lives. This tragedy happened at the ancient shamanic ceremonial site Podkova, which once was recognized as a gate to the parallel reality. The spirits of 33 diseased shamans blocked the Gate and since that day, there were no more shamanic ceremonies performed at Podkova.

The legend prophecies that if 33 "white shamans" (those who are engaged in healing) come to Podkova to pay respect to the 33 diseased shamans in the ceremony of peace, as they join their hands, the love of their hearts will reach the unhappy spirits of their ancestors. Pacified, the spirits will unblock The Gate, and the 33 shaman-healers will be granted with power and wisdom: they will receive the answers on how to help the world in the time of crisis.

By meeting with representatives of technological society, people of different religions and different beliefs, the documentary will explore the obstacles in finding healing solutions for the world's crisis. What separates us as a human race in achieving our mutual goal, and what do we need to fulfill the prophecy of 33 shamans? Representatives from spiritual communities, and Native healers and elders will be asked questions such as: Do you think we'll be able to find a solution for the world's crisis? Can we find it on our own? Do you believe that there are other worlds, and higher intelligences? Do you think our ancestors left us guidance in their storytelling? Do you have any knowledge of legends or prophecies that address a present situation in the world? What do you think about this statement: we have to shift our perception of this reality in the matter to survive as a human race?
